PNN Neuro AID Advanced Formula is very strong. It is designed to provide the human nervous system the nutrients essential for optimum performance, most of which are rarely obtained in sufficient quantities via diet alone, especially in today’s world. Most people aren’t accustomed to ingesting these nutrients in such a condensed form, and as such, while some folks have the proverbial “cast-iron stomach,” others will require a little time for their body to adapt. That’s why we advise that you start slowly, with one capsule twice a day with food and plenty of water for at least 2 or 3 days, then moving to 3 per day, a few days later 4 capsules, then depending on your size, gender, age, and condition, perhaps continuing to 5 capsules per day or a maximum of 6 capsules per day.

As it says on the bottle, we always advise you to be examined by a medical doctor or licensed medical professional before taking this supplement, or frankly, any others. This examination and interview should determine whether or not there is some reason for you to either abstain from taking this product or to limit your dosage in some way. We highly recommend consulting either a Naturopathic or Osteopathic physician, both of whom are more likely to be familiar with natural supplements and recognize their usefulness.

Human beings have incredibly diverse individual physiologies and health conditions, and the vast majority of people will be able to use and benefit from this product without experiencing any negative effects. However, there are some living with conditions which suggest that one or more of the ingredients that it contains could produce unwanted side effects or otherwise negative reactions. There are others currently taking prescription medications which might be adversely impacted by the addition of certain ingredients, or more than limited quantities of those ingredients. That's why it helps to be advised by a trained professional well versed in these issues.

Possible Contraindications:

Following are the most common contraindications or potential adverse effects experienced in relation to the ingredients listed:

Vitamin D3 for persons with hypercalcemia
Vitamin E (in higher doses) for persons taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) may interact with chemotherapy medications, Dilantin, and L-dopa (Levadopa)
Vitamin B9 (5-methyltetrahydrofolate) (5-MTHF) (the active form of Folic Acid) may interact with anticonvulsants, methotrexate, and pyrimethamine
Vitamin B12 may interact with colchicine, metformin, proton pump inhibitors and Vitamin C (especially high-dosage Vit.C)
Magnesium (Mg+) may interact with antibiotics, bisphosphonates, calcium channel blockers, muscle relaxants and water pills
Omega three fatty acids present moderate potential hazards with recurrent atrial fibrillation, aspirin, and liver disease
Inositol hexa can present a moderate interaction with cholesterol lowering medications, medications that slow blood clotting, medications for diabetes, and nicotine patches
NAC can slow blood clotting and should be avoided by people with bleeding disorders, and used with caution by people with kidney disease
ALCAR may adversely affect people with insomnia, interfere with thyroid function, and may increase seizures in those with epilepsy
Alpha Lipoic Acid may be used with caution in conjunction with medications for cancer or diabetes held prior to surgery
CoQ10 may interact with blood thinners, thyroid medications, or chemotherapy
PQQ occasionally causes headaches, drowsiness, and fatigue, though this is rare
Vitamin K2 – MK7 (or k2 m7) has the potential to interact with blood thinners, especially Coumadin, or aggravate severe kidney disease or kidney stones
Vitamin K2 is considered by most sources likely to be safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, though this should be approved by your doctor
Benfotiamine generally causes minimal negative interactions
